Media Release | Veterans Day at the Medina County Fair 2020

Media Release

The normal activities that typically take place on Veterans Day at the Medina County Fair (Monday, August 3, 2020) will not take place this year due to COVID-19.
It was a difficult decision but for the safety of all involved it is best that we cancel this event.
Admission to the fair for Veterans on Monday, August 3, 2020 will still be free with proof of veteran’s status. However, the customary events that take place in the main pavilion will not be scheduled.

It saddens us deeply to have to cancel this wonderful event that we have sponsored now for twelve years. It has grown into our biggest outreach event and something the Veterans of Medina County and Fair goers have come to look forward to and appreciate.
We hope everyone understands this decision was not an easy one, but the majority of those attending from the Veteran’s organizations are of a vulnerable category to COVID-19 and we thought it best for the well-being of all involved.

We hope to see everyone next year.
